The “People Who Produce and Preserve” Project was created in 2013. This is a partnership between WWF-Brazil, WWF-France, Friends of the Earth Club - Sorriso, and the Bel Group to promote the production of responsible RTRS-certified soybeans in the region. The project worked on two fronts: RTRS certification with the implementation of good farming practices, and implementation of an agroecology scheme for family-based farmers.
